220g caster sugar
15g salted butter
50g of your favourite nuts
Pinch of salt
Here's what to do
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place the sugar and water in a heavy based saucepan on medium heat. Do not stir. Allow the mixture to boil until it turns an amber colour. This could take 10-15 minutes depending on your stove top.
Once the mixture turns amber, add the butter and stir quickly. Pour onto your prepared baking tray and sprinkle with nuts and salt. Snap into shards once it sets.
Mixture is really hot so please be careful!
